Vodafone Gold Partner Access Communications has launched Lease Mobile, a b2b smartphone and tablet leasing service.
The company said it aims to ‘break tradition’ in the way companies buy and renew smartphones and tablets for their employees.
All devices on the Lease Mobile website are supplied and financed by the company, which is a subsidiary of Guildford-based Access Communications. The devices are available on 24 or 36 month repayment terms. The website will range tablets and smartphones from brands including Apple, Sony, Samsung and Nokia, and promises free delivery on all orders.
Lease Mobile is promoting its launch this month by offering customers free football regalia, including England shirts, PlayStation games and replica footballs, during the World Cup season. All Sony purchasers will be automatically entered into a 40" HDTV prize draw.
James Phillips (pictured), MD of Access Communications, said: ‘We are delighted to announce this market first. With evolving customer needs there comes a requirement for suppliers to adapt their product offering that supports the changing landscape.
‘The days of sales conversations that focused simply on what hardware the customer can receive at no charge are gone. The customer is looking at optimising their savings with greater discounts that reward them on their usage and purchasing hardware as and when required, this is where Lease Mobile comes in to provide a finance option for this.’
