Daisy Wholesale recruits its dream product team

Daisy Wholesale has lined up its dream team of product experts. The search, which kicked off six months ago, is part of company plans to drive cross-sales of its mobile, voice, data and IT services.

The new recruits include Lee Broxson, Product Director for Data, who was formerly head of sales at Griffin. He is tasked with building a high quality data offering for the reseller market.

Graham Harris also joins the team as Product Director for Cloud. His previous role was as Head of Sales at Splicecom. Harris will focus on identifying new cloud-based products and services for Daisy Wholesale’s portfolio.

Alex Mawson, Product Director for Voice, is a Daisy veteran whose former roles include technical director of Daisy Retail. In his new role he will be using his IT and voice technology experience to enhance Wholesale’s telephony offering.

Andrew Wilford, Commercial Director & Product Director for Mobile, will focus on the further development of mobile propositions. He is also briefed with changing the way Daisy Wholesale brings those offers to market by simplifying the purchasing process for resellers.

Daisy Wholesale said Wilford has already made his mark with the introduction of ‘The One & Only’ tariff, which has seen partner sales of mobile quadruple in a year.

Richard Beeston, Product Director for Partner Services, also joins the team as the newest recruit. Daisy Wholesale said Beeston will champion an increased focus on the provision of IT and professional services to the reseller market. Beeston brings 15 years of telco experience to the division.

Daisy Wholesale MD Terry O’Brien said: ‘Earlier this year I talked about my aspiration for a more product-centric approach and to do that we needed knowledge and experience across our portfolio. Now that we have all our product directors in place, I believe that we can truly start to showcase our potential as a provider of integrated products, applications and captivating propositions.’
