Ingram Micro to roll out advertising and marketing agency

Ingram Micro is launching Agency Ingram Micro, an advertising and marketing agency aimed at helping its resellers better market their services.

The distributor will be promoting the new agency at its SMB Alliance Forum event on 2 October, which will be held at StadiumMK in Milton Keynes.

The forum is the biggest event in Ingram Micro’s history, featuring over 40 technology brands showcased in a range of interactive zones.

MD and VP of Ingram Micro UK&I, Brent McCarty, said: ‘We’ll also be signing resellers up for our new advertising and marketing agency that launches this month. Agency Ingram Micro will provide branding, telemarketing, PR, social media, web advertising solutions and event management to help resellers maximise opportunities by leveraging the marketing expertise within Ingram Micro as a value added service.’

He said the SMB Alliance Forum presented significant opportunities for the distributor’s resellers.

‘We’re giving our SMB customers the biggest event in our history. As well as presentations on new technologies from the top vendors, delegates will also hear about the additional support and expertise available to them when partnering with us. My team will deliver master classes on how to increase revenue opportunities in new growth markets, understand the needs of key target verticals, and speed the adoption amongst their end users of cloud and ProAV technology.’

The event will also see Dave Coplin, recently voted the most influential man at Microsoft UK, as the keynote speaker. The chief envisioning officer at Microsoft UK will deliver a thought leadership piece on the impact of changing trends as users adopt and adapt to new ways of using technology to live, work and do business.


Supercover Insurance

Ingram Micro Mobility has inked a deal with Supercover Insurance which will see it offer its customers device insurance services.

The deal is part of IMM’s drive into value-added services aimed at expanding their customers’ portfolios.
