Exertis has taken on EE executive Nick Beesley as the company's mobile devices business manager.
Beesley, who will report to Ewan Davies, Exertis head of devices, will be responsible for ranging the company's Samsung and Acer mobile phones and tablets, liaising with the Exertis sales team and the vendors to ensure a flow of product for the channel.
Beesley worked in EE's retail trading team as the pay monthly trading manager for three years. Prior to that Beesley was at Dixons Retail for six years. Whilst there he was involved in category management roles within the Dixons Travel business.
Beesley said: 'I'm excited to be working here at Exertis, both in terms of the fact it is an excellent company to be part of with great prospects for my future, as well as being able to work in the heart of the company, looking at the opportunities and maximising the potential for my area of the business.
'With my background and passion within consumer and telco electronics, this commercial role seemed perfect for me.
'I have a great opportunity here at Exertis, and with autonomy and ownership over my remit I'm really looking forward to getting stuck into the job over coming months,' he added.
Davies said: 'We are very pleased to welcome Nick as a member of our mobile team. He is set to become an influential cog in the Exertis wheel.'
