‘Security of mobile data will be a massive consideration’: Andrew Rowley Frontier Group
Andrew Rowley, managing director, Frontier Group
‘2014 has been another fast paced year to be in the mobile industry and I don’t expect 2015 to be any different.
‘It had long been talked about that the world was changing and dealers had to adapt. We are now seeing the fruits of doing that with the explosion of 4G and hosted products. 2015 will see customers demand products which can further enable flexible working, with the mobile networks clamouring to be at the forefront of this. Handset manufacturers are providing customers with an array of choices and I anticipate that both the Android and Microsoft products will continue their strong performance. Rumours of mergers continue to circulate and it will be interesting to see how these progress into the New Year.
‘The roll of a business partner has changed dramatically and customers now expect companies like Frontier to assist in their overall communications and IT strategy. It is vital that the networks continue to release new products in order to satisfy customer demand. Security of mobile data will be a massive consideration for businesses in 2015 and we are now seeing a definite trend of this being right at the top of a company’s agenda when selecting a supplier.
'One thing is for sure it will never be dull and the industry currently is a vibrant one for those showing the correct behaviours.’
