Double digit growth for mobile accessories market: Gusto 2015 Prediction

2015 will again be a fantastic year for those leaders in the UK mobile market that are willing to be creative, work hard and take some chances. The accessory market will again show double digit growth attracting a raft of overseas brands and competing for the same shelf space as UK companies like mine, the companies with the best customer service will come out on top.

The MNO’s will continue the aggressive and hugely sensible push to get direct to consumers with a keen eye on the smaller retailers and B2B dealers. By the end of 2015 BT will be offering mobile, broadband and fixed line through its hugely successful business division which will wipe out the weaker B2B players. The process that saw the demise of 4u will start spreading to the smaller partners with a raft of casualties as a result.

Wearable technology will gather pace through 2015 with huge sales in Q4, the killer use is yet to be realised and it will most likely come from a smaller business who can afford to innovate. Mobile power is the key and my business will be spending a lot of time trying to get the products right for Q4.
