Chess Telecom has acquired IT systems provider Compwise Systems Limited.
The firm explained that the acquisition would see Compwise Systems become part of Chess Corporate Solutions, adding 3 new staff members and adding a further £400k annual turnover to the group.
The business has been pursuing an aggressive acquisition strategy with 90 companies added to the group to date.
Chess explained that the acquisition supported its vision to enable complete end-to-end solutions for businesses while further supporting their existing IT portfolio.
Chess Chief Executive David Pollock said he believed that the acquisition bolster the future of Chess’ ICT offering: ‘Compwise Limited have flourished as a total IT solution provider since 1992 ; they possess a wide and varied knowledge base to provide great support for the technical needs of all businesses. They have an outstanding reputation across the industry and we are delighted to welcome them into the Chess group.’
The business will be combined within the Chess Partner Services team at the Chess office located in Borehamwood.
