Excalibur Communications believes that it can expand its footprint by targeting the sports and
Managing director Andy Tow stated the company plan to continue its expansion within the leisure industry and hinted at further deals to come. Tow said: ‘The sport and leisure industries are a key market for us, it’s a big market to go for.
‘It’s about better ways of working and making our customers more efficient and profitable, and we use technology to support them in that, rather than the other way around.’
Following on from its recent contract win with a chain of pubs in the South West, the unified communications dealer is looking to boost its annual turnover to £25m in the next five years. The brewery contract puts it on track to achieve that.
Tow said: ‘Winning the contract with Butcombe Brewery was another step on our way to increasing our annual turnover. We are at £8m today and if you look at 25% per annum growth over the next five years, you’ll end up at £25m.’
Excalibur believes location is also a factor in securing deals, and targets a customer base within South West England to ensure its clients are within comfortable reach of its offices. Tow certainly believes this strategy benefits the business: ‘It allows us to work within vertical niches, such as breweries and sports, where we are becoming experts.’
