Vodafone believes the future of its partner channel lies in unified communications.
The network has set out a two year strategy which it feels will help partners in their transition to becoming a complete unified comms dealer. The plan has three main themes; convergence, customer experience and collaboration.
Speaking to Mobile Nick Birtwistle, director of partnerships and alliances, Vodafone UK, said: ‘Today we held our annual partner conference, Vodafone partner services has been going five years and a lot has changed in that time. We are having to adapt to changes in our partners needs and those in the industry as a whole.
‘We’ve set a strategy outlook for the next two years and within that there are three areas we’re looking to develop. The first of these is convergence, this has developed alongside a change in customer expectations; businesses are now more aware of cloud services and office 365. It’s about offering a complete unified comms package.
‘The second is customer and partner experience, we are investing in resources to simplify the tools for our partners to make customer experience the best it can possibly be. The third is collaboration and how Vodafone works with its indirect partners, we build strong good relationships that help shape our strategy.’
