Exertis has appointed a new Chief Operating Officer as part of plans to boost its logistics offering.

Kevin Paterson will take up the new role and will oversee Exertis’ logistics and warehousing operations as the distributor continues to expand.

Paterson previously worked for Vodafone and Carphone Warehouse, supporting the latter during its merger with Dixons. His new role will also see him integrate a newly acquired consumer electronics distributor, Computers Unlimited, with a parent company of Exertis.
