Chess Telecom has announced John Pett as MD of Chess Partner Services, as part of a number of new appointments within the division.
The company said the shake-up follows a successful financial year for the Partner Services team, with Pett explaining that Chess has grown to become a significant industry player.
Another acquisition for Chess
He said: ‘I am delighted to be announced as Managing Director of Chess’ Partner division. We have already developed one of the most successful telecoms partner programmes in the UK and are undoubtedly a significant player in our industry with the potential to be great.
Chess’s Partner Services was previously led by former Avenir MD Andy Tow, who took over the partner division after Chess acquired Avenir Telecom in 2014.
Chess launches Elite Partner Programme
Pett takes the helm as Chess continues its push into the unified communications space, launching its Elilte Partner Programme earlier this year to boost its share of the telecoms and IT market.
He will be joined in his new appointment by Kerri Lendon who has been promoted to Head of Partner Support and Dan Russell, who is now Head of Partner Sales – Mobile.
