Kazam has secured an exclusive partnership with Virgin Media, marking its latest push into the UK mobile market.
Virgin Media will stock the Kazam Trooper 540 device, which will be offered to Virgin Mobile customers both online and in-store. Andy Lee, VP of Kazam UK and Ireland, explaining the deal ‘marks the start’ of its relationship with Virgin.

He said: ‘This deal marks the start of a relationship with Virgin Media, reinforcing our continued success in the UK market. Kazam’s focus is on quality, affordable phones, along with fantastic service including free cracked screen replacement, three year warranty and Kazam Rescue.’
The European smartphone brand has previously claimed that these added feature enable Kazam to ‘genuinely challenge the UK market’, speaking to Mobile after sealing a distribution deal with Exertis earlier this year.

Tim Beere, director of marketing, explained at the time that the tough UK market means that Kazam needs to work hard to stay ahead of the competition.
He said: ‘The UK is arguably the toughest market within the European mobile industry. As a challenger brand, Kazam has worked hard to understand the specific customer wants and needs. Consumers are seeking greater value, together with a high quality user experience, particularly relevant given the recent uptake of 4G devices. ‘
