Exertis has become a Huawei Certified Services Partner (CSP), further strengthening its relationship with the Chinese manufacturer.
Describing the announcement as ‘the next phase’ of partnerships between the companies, Exertis explained that the collaboration will allow it deliver both products and certified services to its resellers.
The distributor will leverage Huawei’s accreditation programme to cover ‘the entire sales cycle’, including pre-sales, network design, installation and maintenance, claiming it will give its resellers a ‘significant commercial advantage’.
Ian Gilbey, Exertis services director said: ‘Exertis is delighted to be expanding its partnership with Huawei. With CSP accreditation, our resellers will gain significant commercial advantage in deploying Huawei networking products through Exertis, benefiting from our award winning range of services and supported by Huawei’s Co-Care model.’
The distributor explained that this Co-Care Model will complement Exertis’ existing VAD Solutions services, claiming the deal will enable its resellers to boost margins.
‘This proposition is unique in the market and will provide our customers with a value-added service that will also enable them to add more margin to their business,’ Gillbey concluded.
The extended partnership with Huawei marks the latest in a series of deals that Exertis has secured over the last year to boost its reseller plan, most recently working with Fujitsu to offer a ‘margin-rich solution.’
