STK renames handsets as rebrand continues

STK has continued to develop its new brand by renaming two of its handsets.

The Storm 2 and Sync 5.5 devices will be stocked at mobile retailer SIM Local, which already sells STK accessories at its locations in Heathrow and Dublin airports.

Formerly operating as Santok, the company changed its name to STK in the second half of 2015. This was in order to sell directly to the consumer and bring its accessories, IoT and smartphone divisions under one name.

The two new smartphones will be rebranded and sold under the newly formed STK Mobile.

Henri Salameh, director of Business Development at STK, explained that this consumer focus will continue as STK continues to expand its brand presence.

‘We're continually focused on building on our existing offering and our brand presence within SIM Local stores. SIM Local is the ideal one stop shop for travellers and STK products consisting of smartphones and mobile accessories offers those travellers on the spot solutions for their needs.’
