Exclusive: Huawei’s VP of UK enterprise departs

Huawei has confirmed that its UK head of enterprise has left the business.

John Morrison will depart the manufacturer after spending a year as Vice President of UK Enterprise Business Group. He spent three years prior to that as Huawei’s sales director of enterprise.

A Huawei spokesperson confirmed the departure to Mobile, with a replacement yet to be announced: ‘After four years with the Enterprise business in the UK, John Morrison is leaving Huawei UK & Ireland to take up a European role with another company.’

Morrison will now join software company Extreme Networks, taking on the role of VP EMEA sales and service.

Speaking at the time, Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group, described Western Europe as a ‘key market’ for Huawei and revealed plans to develop consumer trust and brand perception in the region.
