Two large telephony companies have merged and are looking to establish dealer channels in a deal that could benefit mobile dealers in the south west.
Voice and data solutions experts, Alliance Communications, merged with one of Europe’s longest standing independent telecom providers, Midas Telecom, to form a new company called AMI Solutions ltd.
However, the new company will continue to trade under the name Alliance for brand recognition purposes.
Alliance currently provides more than 200 business customers with voice, data, mobile phone services and VoIP. It arranges packages from Vodafone, Orange, T-Mobile and O2.
The merged company also plans to further expand its b2b market.
Company Director, Miles Watson, said: ‘We aim to be the leading communications provider to the small and medium business sector in the south west and then to grow nationally, providing integrated voice and data solutions.’
