Herrington leaves Redstone Mobile

Ipswich-based distributor Redstone Mobile is on the
look-out for a new marketing boss after Jim Herrington left the business this week.

Herrington (left) has been marketing director at the business and IT communications company for the past three years. He left the company formerly known as Anglia on Monday this week.

Herrington’s departure follows that of former Redstone Mobile CEO Andrew Smith last year. Smith had been with the distributor for three years and oversaw two Anglia buyouts Ð the first by Symphony Telecom and then more recently by Redstone Plc.

In addition to his role as CEO he was a director of Redstone Mobile.

Smith left the business after a period of extended compassionate leave. He was replaced by former sales director Dave McGinn.

Herrington was not available for comment.
