Frequency Telecom to create jobs after moving home
Distributor Frequency Telecom is to create jobs after making the short move to a new home two doors away from its previous head office.
The Chessington-based handset and accessories distributor along with its b2b subsidiary Jelly Communications had been at its current office on the Barwell Business Park since it was formed in 2002.
Now after the company has grown to a £24m turnover organisation with almost 30 staff, it was time to move to the larger premises.
Frequency’s MD Gareth Limpenny said: ‘We’ve been planning this move for the past eighteen months so it’s really good to see it happening at last.
‘We wanted to double the size of office and warehouse accommodation and looked at many premises in the area. When it became available just two doors down, we jumped at the opportunity to take it.
‘Now that we have more room for additional staff and equipment, we will be launching a number of new initiatives over the next few months so you can expect to see a higher profile for both Frequency and Jelly.’
