Mainline launches B2B ‘fulfillment’ service

Orange distributor Mainline has launched a ‘fulfillment’ service for business-to-business dealers which it says will reduce costs and enhance levels of customer service.

The service is designed to complement the company’s business-to-consumer scheme, which has been operating on behalf of retail specialists for a number of years.

Mainline’s business channel marketing manager, Stephen Spillett, said:

‘It is especially useful for dealers who don’t want to hold large levels of stock, with all the associated security and insurance headaches, or who need to fulfill a time-sensitive delivery or a large order.’

According to Mainline, the functionality of the system means dealers can use it as a management information tool, enabling them to view commissions, payments, connections, returns and other information.
