Nokia appoints new distribution chief

Hot on the heels of its intense distribution review, Nokia has appointed a new head of distribution to run both its consumer and business distributors.

James Orten takes the role from Mark Boyes, who is moving into a different role.
Orten was previously the Carphone Warehouse account manager. He joined Nokia from 3 where he was national account manager on prepay.

Orten will look after 20:20 Mobile and Data Select – the two consumer distributors – as well as Brightpoint, appointed last month as Nokia’s sole business distributors.

He will report into Nokia’s head of retail Aaron Di Marco, part of sales chief Mark Loughran’s division.
