Advantage managing director John McFarnon in court in 2010
Former Unique boss John McFarnon’s court case for charges relating to VAT will not be heard until 2010.
He was in Kingston crown court earlier this month to arrange trial dates.
McFarnon was charged by HMRC in June 2008 in relation to offences linked to the trade of mobile phones between 2005 and 2006. He is being charged alongside Haider Ravjani, the director of IGB, the parent company of defunct distributor Unique.
McFarnon’s pleas will be heard on 11 December 2009, with the case likely to go to trial on 12 April 2010.
