Car kit distributor Chameleon busy in wake of fallout with Bury
The Chameleon Group, a car kit distribution and installation company, has added suppliers Scorpion Electro Systems and Nemesis Technology.
The deal with Scorpion was finalised in May and sees the two companies entering into a three year exclusive deal together.
Chameleon is currently involved in a legal dispute with one of its suppliers, Bury Technologies.
One source close to Chameleon said it is ‘signing up deals left, right and centre at the moment because of what’s going on with Bury’.
MD of Scorpion Mark Downing said: ‘Chameleon and Scorpion have teamed up to exclusively distribute the Scorpion range of cellular products into the after-market.’
Chameleon has also secured a deal with the distributor of mobile car mounts, Nemesis Technology, as a reseller of Brodit products.
Nemesis is the sole importer of Brodit, which include car mounts for mobile phones.
