20:20 Mobile launches white label applications store
20:20 Mobile will launch a ‘white label’ mobile Apps store for retailers in partnership with Handmark.
Mobile services creation and Handmark will be the main provider of mobile news services, games, applications, and other products across multiple mobile platforms for the 20:20 mobile apps stores.
20:20’s App store will provide applications compatible for nearly 90% of all smartphones sold this year giving extensive coverage of the market and consumer groups
The App store will offer a full end to end solution including; customer support with thousands of applications across a wide range of genres and mobile operating systems for most popular handsets. Each retailer’s proposition will be specifically tailored by 20:20 Mobile to suit the needs of the end consumer.
20:20’s, sales director, David Hinc said: ‘Our key USP, in contrast to most other application stores, is that our store caters for multiple Operating Systems including Android as well as offering a huge Java based catalogue and therefore applications and games can be sold for most popular handsets as well as Smartphones including Nokia, Blackberry and Windows Mobile Devices.’
