Dealers want more Nokia 1208 and 1209 stock
Demand for cheap Nokia phones such as the 1208 and 1209 is growing, with dealers saying they can’t get the stock levels they want.
Independent dealers are struggling to get hold of Nokia 1208 (pictured) and 1209 phones.
The handsets are popular among business accounts due to the low cost and long lasting battery.
However, some dealers have recently been unable to replenish their stocks.
One London based dealer said: ‘There is a lack of low-end stock in the UK, especially the 1208 and 1209, and indie dealers are feeling the pinch.
‘Right now, those phones are in demand because of Sim-only deals. I don’t know whether they have discontinued the phones or if stock is depleted.’
