Barclay Communications strikes deal with O2 for free call offering
Barclay Communications has struck a deal with O2 to offer its customers free landline to mobile and free mobile to landline calls.
In the what it said was a 'unique' deal, the O2 centre of excellence and centre of data partner will be able to offer customers free calls to up to 10 landline numbers from their mobile.
Meanwhile, the fixed line arm of the Belfast based dealer will be able to offer free landline to mobile calls to customers.
In April, O2 passed over the management of £16 million worth of O2 small and medium business customers to Barclay Communications.
Barclay Communications’ director, Adrian McCourt, said: ‘Knowing that 50% of all landline calls are to mobile phones, we realised our customers could receive huge cost savings if they got these calls for free. We had to do it! We had to think outside the box and develop a really fresh offer for our mobile and landline business clients, and what an incentive. This is unheard of in the UK.’
