O2 re-examines accessories range after sending a request for information (RFI)
O2 has asked accessories distributors to send pricing details as it reviews its range to ensure it is getting the best price.
A request for information (RFI) has been sent out to distributors for an accessories tender to stock O2 high street and online stores with accessories, as well as to supply back office responsibilities such as returns.
It is understood the request could be the first step in a change of tack for the operator on accessories, in which it will formalise set partnerships with distributors for accessories.
An O2 spokeswoman said: ‘O2 routinely issues RFIs and RFQs as standard business practice to broaden understanding of the products and services available in the marketplace, and to ensure we are getting value for money.’
