HSC allows dealers to connect unlocked phones to Orange
HSC has negotiated a deal with Orange that will allow it to connect Orange Sim cards to unlocked phones.
The deal will allow independent dealers to connect to devices including the BlackBerry 8520 (pictured) for £180 and the Nokia N96.
Other devices made by HTC, LG, Samsung and Sony Ericsson can also be connected to the network through the new deal.
Dealers can usually only connect Orange branded phones to the network.
A specific Sim card will need to be bought from HSC – no handset subsidy is available on the generic conditions – and there is a £40 reduction in commission on upgrades.
HSC recently launched the ‘Approved’ dealer scheme in partnership with O2.
