Shebang is confident about 2009 turnover after
reporting that it made same turnover in the first five months of this year that
it made in the entire course of last year.
The better-than-expected results were reported as new
retail deals boosted the distributor’s partnership base.
The company, which provides IT solutions, Orange handsets and airtime to dealers and retailers, is
projecting £100m turnover this year.
Meanwhile, the distributor has signed deals with WH
Smith and Avon to provide handsets and airtime
to the retailers.
Sales director, Julian Burton said: ‘We are aiming to
make an impact over Christmas with offers that appeal to anyone and everyone.’
The company will be moving premises at the end of
September, to larger premises that were once used by Virgin.
The new building will give Shebang ten times the
warehouse space it once had access to. It will also mean the different arms of
the company will be in one place for the first time.
