Yes Telecom considers revenue share
Yes Telecom dealers are bracing themselves for Vodafone to move onto a revenue share scheme from October.
The network would be the last of the five major operators to move onto the system, which has been implemented by its rivals.
Dealers and distributors believe the network will offer ongoing payments at a higher rate than rivals Orange and O2, to make the offering as competitive as the current rate.
The distributor is currently offering all of its dealers the same rate as ‘gold partners’, but the offer is due to end in October prompting speculation over what will follow.
One dealer said: ‘They will start offering revenue share in October and will roll it out softly, unlike the other networks, and the numbers will be different.’
Vodafone said: ‘We are in various discussions at all times with the people that we work with. There are a number of different options that we are looking at to find the best solutions for our partners.’
