Fone Logistics to sign new dealers to grow its b2b market share

Fone Logistics is set to sign up a total of 17 dealers by December as part of its drive to grow its b2b market share.

The move will see the distributor increase the number of dealers on its Partner Select scheme from 12 to up to 18 since June.

The Partner Select scheme was established in 2008 as part of the O2 Approved Partner programme. Under the plan, Partner Select dealers must first be approved by the operator.

Fone Logistics CEO Ian Gillespie told Mobile: ‘We have increased the number of dealers we have under the O2 Approved Partners programme from 12 to 14 and will add a 15th by early November. We are awaiting O2 approval on another two dealers, which we are hoping for by December, and that will bring the total to 17 dealers.’

New dealers include 2Circles and Evolution Voice and Data. Partner Select dealers must deliver on volume, data services and quality as well as manage churn. The deal includes minimum performance targets, sales targets, a committed tenure and accelerated earnings.

In return, Fone Logistics provides quarterly guaranteed commercials, discounts, branded marketing materials, lead generation, exclusivity deals on newly launched handsets and preferential stock allocation.

Gillespie said he was pleased with the progress of the Partner Select scheme: ‘It’s going well. Everyone is committed to the same goals. Everyone knows where they stand and what they need to achieve.’
