Shebang to recruit 50 new people over next month

Shebang will expand its work force by 50% over the next month, to continue to provide credit top-up functionality to mass retailers.

The Daventry based distributor started recruiting for the extra call centre staff at the start of the month and hopes to complete the process by November.

The company currently employs 100 people and is looking to take on a further 50 staff.

Shebang sales director Julian Burton (pictured) said: ‘This has provided a boost to the local economy and we have been overwhelmed with applications.’

The new apppointments are in connection with growing demand for Shebang’s
box-breaking solution.

The move comes as the company reported strong growth during the first five months of 2009 and secured recent deals with WHSmith and Avon.
