Avenir to start selling O2 fixed line service

Avenir is to start selling O2’s fixed line proposition, ‘joined up’ communications.

The service was announced in September and the operator is currently trialing the product with a number of partners in a ‘managed launch.’

Avenir managing director Andy Tow said: ‘Joined Up represents the start of a new era in how UK businesses communicate. It's the end of an era where you have to choose between one set of suppliers for your mobile communications and another set for your landlines.

‘Such converged solutions have been touted for some time. But we're seeing them become increasingly requested (expected, in fact) by customers.

'As a distributor firmly focused on the B2B sector, we see joined up as an extremely beneficial proposition to our extensive base of mobile and communications dealers who sell to SME and SOHO businesses.’

The service is being offered by O2 in partnership with BT and is being aimed at SMEs.
