Fone Logistics sees future in Crystal Ball tracking system

Mobile phone distributor Fone Logistics has struck a deal with On Air Telecom to distribute Crystal Ball, a GPS vehicle tracking system.

The system allows managers to track their mobile workforce instantly from anywhere in the world.

Fone Logistics will distribute Crystal Ball via its dealer network, signalling the firm’s continued expansion into areas beyond its core mobile phone devices.

The company’s sales and marketing director, Julien Parven, said: ‘We are all excited about distributing this product through our dealers because the system allows you to understand the precise location of your fleet, calculate fuel expenses and mileage reports and also eliminate fraudulent mileage claims and the misuse of company vehicles.’

Billy Telfer of John Deere Forestry said his firm had chosen Crystal Ball for health and safety reasons rather than to spy on workers, since its employees work in remote areas.
