20:20 opens new facility in China
20:20 has opened a new sourcing and operations facility in China which it hopes will allow it to work more closely with manufacturers in the region.
The distributor hopes that it will be able to source new mobile products being developed in the area and support business growth in the European market.
The facility based in Shenzhen will include a packaging and distribution centre as well as product testing. The distributor has introduced a new three stage testing and quality assurance process to ensure high standards across products.
20:20 Mobile MD, James Browning said: ‘The opening of the new facilities in China is a major step for 20:20 Mobile. It shows our commitment to work with existing suppliers to ensure best of breed products are delivered directly to our customers and also puts us close to the developers of new and innovative products of the future.
‘In addition it will enable us to increase supply chain efficiency by packaging all varieties of products at one location.
‘By working closely with suppliers we are able to provide more flexible and cost effective solutions for our customers throughout the UK and Europe.’
