Fone Logistics’ restructure brings in sales director

Fone Logistics’ restructure will see sales and marketing director Julien Parven’s role split in two.

From January, Parven will become Fone Logistics’ marketing director, with newly appointed Duncan Edwards taking on the role of sales director.

Edwards was previously account manager for Canon Business Solutions. His former roles include national account manager of legal and local government at SDS Asbuilt Group and national account manager at Sony.

Fone Logistics MD Ian Gillespie said: ‘We are splitting the role to give more attention to both areas as the business grows.’

The distributor was recently reappointed by Vodafone for airtime connections. The network terminated Fone Logistics’ airtime agreement in late 2006.

The move marks Vodafone’s shift back to indirect channels and follows the return of Carphone Warehouse to the operator’s fold in July.
