Gamma selected for Government Access scheme
Gamma Telecom has been chosen as a key provider for the Government’s Becta Home Access scheme in partnership with 3 and convergence communications provider Livvy’s.

The telecoms company, which also runs an MVNO on the 3 network, will provide Sim cards, 3G dongles and mobile broadband services to the eligible children and families.

The Home Access programme has been put in place to ensure that children and families can have Internet and computer access from home.

Gamma will be working with Livvy’s to provide the service to approximately 270,000 families in the UK.

Gamma senior mobile product manager, Rob Davis, said: ‘Being part of such a worthwhile cause is an honour and we are happy to be playing a role, alongside our channel partner Livvy’s, in helping to bridge the digital divide in Britain.’
