Communicate Better moves from retail to convergence
Manchester based dealer Communicate Better has completed its transition from an independent retail dealer to a ‘converged communications provider’ by moving premises.
The dealer, which has been trading for 16 years, started as a retail shop but moved premises last month. This cemented the change it has made over the last two years into the b2b market and closing the shop on the front of its previous building.
Communicate Better COO Mark Dermody said: ‘We knew day to day that the business we were getting was very minimal. Our time was being taken up by low profit retail customers.
‘Although we have not got that retail store anymore, we still have the availability for in-house business customers to come in and to help them get set up.’
Communicate Better now also has the ability to provide fixed line and vehicle tracking products to its customers.
Dermody added: ‘The site we have moved in to is significantly better for the new services we are providing. We have gone completely away from retail.
We now want to grow organically and through acquisitions as well.’
In 2008, the company merged with a landline company and formed Communicate Better Ltd.
