Shebang has won a deal to distribute Samsung’s new range of accessories through its partner network.
Shebang will introduce Samsung accessories to all its online partners, including Amazon, Tesco, Play.com and Mobile Fun, as well as Shebang owned sites and its retail stores.
The win is the first tier one vendor added by Shebang, marking a step change in its approach to the market.
The distributor will handle all product set up and life-cycle management for the mobile accessories range, which includes Bluetooth headsets, cases, speakers and in-car chargers.
It is thought the deal is on the verge of being expanded to Samsung’s MP3, laptop, TV and mobile range.
Product changes, compatibility information, new product introductions and stock allocations, and marketing support and promotions will be provided as part of the contract.
Sales of the accessories range will be driven using Shebang’s Sellfone 3G EPOS system, which is installed in more than 500 UK mobile phone dealerships, including JAG and Get Connected.
Automatic stock replenishment, virtual ordering, direct fulfilment and live reporting of sales out data will be available, while an ‘Associated Stock’ feature will provide store staff with a prompt at point of purchase to sell a Samsung Originals accessory with every Samsung handset.

Joint promotions will be run for Samsung accessories and handsets, and Samsung branded FSDU/POS units, posters and leaflets placed in Shebang and Sellphone stores.
Meanwhile, price competitiveness will be monitored against other original accessory manufacturers to ensure that Samsung occupies the top spots.
