Vodafone unveils major indirect channel restructure
Vodafone has officially announced a new partner programme and the rebranding of Yes Telecom as Vodafone Partner Services.
The new partner programme is called the Vodafone Partner Programme and partners will be placed in three tiers. The tiers will be platinum, gold or silver.
Each of the tiers will be based on value, volume and levels of capability. The platinum status is the highest level and partners will be given tailored support.
Partners in the other tiers will be able to move up if they reach performance goals.
The programme is based on four pillars: performance enablers, dedicated support, business development and capability.
Performance enablers revolves around commercial incentives, while dedicated support will see partners given dedicated sales and service support. Business development will mean partners are given the right tools to make sales and retain customers.
Partners will be encouraged to sell unified comms to their customers, as long as they have the right capability, which will lead to accreditation.
Vodafone UK enterprise director Peter Kelly said: ‘Today marks a key milestone of our journey to deliver a single dedicated partner organisation to build real long-term value for our partners and customers. As we move from an era of mobile connectivity to selling UC services, it is crucial that our channel partners have the right training, skills and capabilities to sell solutions such as One Net to grow their businesses.
