Pieter Knook to exit Vodafone
Vodafone internet services director Pieter Knook will leave the operator as part of its group reorganisation announced earlier this month.
Knook joined Vodafone from Microsoft in 2008 as the operator looked to take on Google and Apple in the services arena.
He is credited with implementing Vodafone 360, which has since been scrapped as a device proposition and is instead just a software offering. It is not known if Knook has a job to go to.
A Vodafone spokesman said: ‘Vodafone has communicated the reporting structure for Group Commercial, following its Group organisation announcement of 9 September. As part of this communication it is confirmed that Pieter Knook, Vodafone internet services director, has decided to leave the business.’
