Samsung launches three new Wave smartphones

Samsung is adding three new handsets to its Wave family. The three smartphones, dubbed Wave 525, the Wave 575 and the Wave 533, all run on Bada OS and come with a TouchWiz 3.0 interface. They also have a 3.2 inch touch-screen, a 3.2-megapixel camera, storage memory of up to 16 GB, GPS capabilities and Wi-Fi support.

The Wave 533 has a slide-out keyboard and the Wave 575 will have Bluetooth 3.0.

The new smartphones will also come with Samsung applications, including Social Hub, which will also feature of Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Tab Android based devices.

In a statement, Samsung said: ‘Thee Samsung Wave family has been designed for those who take socialising seriously. That’s why it features an integrated messaging solution – a one-stop hub for all your communications including SMS, email, SNS, and instant messaging.’

Prices have yet to be revealed. A phased roll out of the new Wave phones across Europe will begin shortly.
