Three bolsters device range with HTC Desire HD and Nokia N8
Mobile operator, Three has added to its range of devices with the addition of the HTC Desire HD and the Nokia N8.
The operator recently announced it had completed £400m network investment and claims to provide 3G coverage to 97% of the population.
The HTC HD Desire has a 4.3inch touchscreen and an 8.0 MP camera with HD capability.
Three head of branded devices Sylvia Chind said about the HTC Desire HD: ‘With wide ranging media capabilities, the HTC Desire HD is a welcome addition to our ever-growing Android family of phones. The social networking and integrated features of this phone paired with our strong 3G network makes the HTC Desire HD a real stand-out smartphone.’
Nokia’s flagship N8 handset has a 12 MP camera and also has HD recording capability.
Chind said about the Nokia N8: ‘“The new features of Symbian 3, particularly how it makes the most of widgets, means a strong 3G network is needed to support all the live streams of data they use. With 97% of traffic on our network coming from data, our network is built for data use.’
The Nokia N8 is available on the One Plan with 2000 cross network minutes, 5000 texts and 1GB of data for £35 a month and the HTC Desire is available on the same tariff for £40 a month.
