Samsung Mobile beefs up UK team
Samsung Mobile has appointed Batyr Bulat as marketing director and Keith O’Brien head of content as it beefs up its UK mobile team.
Bulat, who was previously at Unilever, will be responsible for promoting the manufacturer’s strategy ‘smartphone for everyone’.
Meanwhile, Keith O’Brien joins the manufacturer from mobile media company, FoneStarz. O’Brien previously worked for Vodafone for five years, where he held the position of head of music in the UK and head of content for Vodafone Australia. He will be responsible for content including games, video on demand, music and magazines, across all mobile devices.
Both new recruits will report directly to Samsung UK MD of mobile Simon Stanford.
