Three signs MVNO deal with Unify Mobile

Three has signed a full MVNO deal with international business company Unify Mobile.

The agreement with Three will see the company extend its customer base to the UK with a complete service launch, planned in early Q2.

Unify operates the fourth mobile network in Switzerland, the US and Liechtenstein, and has full MVNOs in the Netherlands and Germany.

Unify Mobile focuses on building a customer base targeted at the business and international communities, alongside traditional models.

Unify's CEO Bart Verkruijssen said: ‘We are delighted to be partnering with Three UK. Operating Unify services on the UK's biggest 3G Network gives us the opportunity to really differentiate and offer our customers the very latest in mobile voice and data services.’

Three's director of wholesale Lynda Burton said: ‘Unify's experience in the global mobile market, combined with our leading 3G Network, will result in new and innovative propositions for the end customer. The Unify Mobile deal is a strong start to 2011, with Three having tripled wholesale growth in 2010 amongst its MVNO partners.’
