Everything Everywhere has confirmed it will stock the Sony Ericsson ‘PlayStation’ Xperia Play handset in the UK.
The handset will be available across both the Orange and T-Mobile brands from April.
Sony Ericsson officially revealed the device during an ad break at the US Super Bowl event last weekend. It will also be ranged by O2.
The long awaited smartphone will be also showcased on the eve of Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on 13 February.
Last month, Mobile revealed that Everything Everywhere was signing a deal with Sony Ericsson to range the Xperia Play.
The Xperia Play runs on Android 2.3, with Sony Ericsson’s proprietary Android skin.
A PlayStation app will allow users to access the gaming function of the phone, with games controlled either using the built in gyroscope or the traditional PlayStation buttons.
The phone also sports a 1GHz Snapdragon Qualcomm processor and 512MB of RAM.
