INQ unveils two Android phones

INQ has revealed the first fully integrated Facebook phones, the Android INQ Cloud Touch and INQ Cloud Q.

The main home screen provides a one click access to users’ friends’ updates, photos, videos and any weblinks that have been posted.

Both handsets are also the first to use Facebook social graph API, which works out the friends users interact with most and prioritises their updates in the news feed. Users can talk to other friends via Facebook Chat, check into their favourite places with Facebook Places, while any upcoming events including friends’ birthdays will automatically be integrated with Google Calendar.

The handsets are unique in that that their default music player is Spotify. Users will have to subscribe to the premium service to enjoy all the benefits of the streaming service, although they will be able to transfer and swap playlists from their computer to their phone wirelessly.

Both the INQ Cloud Touch and INQ Cloud Q run on Android 2.2, with the main differences between the two devices being that the Cloud Q has both a touch-screen and a QWERTY keyboard.  The INQ Cloud Touch will be available from April from Carphone Warehouse, while the INQ Cloud Q will be available in Q3.
