It will be available as a W-iFi and 3G model as well as a Wi-Fi-only version. Jobs said that the UK will be get the iPad 2 just two weeks after the device makes its US debut.

He added that prices will remain exactly the same as the first model – with the original iPad coming down in price.

An Everything Everywhere spokeswoman said: ‘We can confirm that Everything Everywhere plans to offer the iPad when it is made available later this month on both Orange UK and T-Mobile UK. More details will follow shortly.'
