Everything Everywhere will stock Apple’s iPad 2 when it launches in the UK later this month, the operator has confirmed.
The device will be ranged on both the T-Mobile and Orange brands when it is launched on 25 March. The pricing model is yet to be released.
Apple’s iPad 2 was unveiled by CEO Steve Jobs yesterday evening (2 March) in San Francisco.
The thinner and lighter device comes with a dual-core processor, front and back cameras and a new version of IOS.
It will be available as a W-iFi and 3G model as well as a Wi-Fi-only version. Jobs said that the UK will be get the iPad 2 just two weeks after the device makes its US debut.
He added that prices will remain exactly the same as the first model – with the original iPad coming down in price.
An Everything Everywhere spokeswoman said: ‘We can confirm that Everything Everywhere plans to offer the iPad when it is made available later this month on both Orange UK and T-Mobile UK. More details will follow shortly.'
O2, Three and Vodafone have not yet made any announcements about ranging the device.
