Everything Everywhere drives for MVNO growth
Everything Everywhere is planning double digit growth in MVNOs over the next year as it launches an aggressive drive into the MVNO market.
Jason Bellman, Everything Everywhere’s director of MVNO and wholesale operations, told Mobile the operator plans to be ‘the network of choice’ for MVNOs.
He added: ‘Given the strength of our combined network we expect to see double digit growth in MVNO partners over the next 12 months.’
The operator is on the hunt for new and existing MVNOs that might be looking to ditch their current operators.
Bellman (pictured) said: ‘There are always deals out in the market coming to an end, and not everyone is satisfied with their relationships in the market, so we are always open to having conversations.’
Everything Everywhere has signed up a total of 21 MVNOs, including eight via its aggregator deal with Transatel. It also has a deal with aggregator Viacloud, which is expected to launch new MVNOs with Everything Everywhere this year.
The operator is targeting the ethnic and b2b sectors, where it is forecasting strong growth. It is also looking at ‘new commercial models that will move the traditional market forward’, Bellman said.
He added that the strength of the Everything Everywhere joint venture gives the operator’s MVNO strategy the edge over its competitors and the capacity to create a new form of MVNO.
He said: ‘We are looking at how we can leverage our asset base to grow our partners’ positions, and how we can move away from the traditional model.
‘It is about how to leverage our wholesale assets and work more closely with different parts of our business to move the model forward.’
Bellman said Everything Everywhere will continue to make deals with larger MVNOs, leaving its MVNAs Transatel and Viacloud to cut deals with small and medium-sized MVNOs.
