Orange launches ‘Do Some Good’ charity app

Orange yesterday (4 May) launched its mobile volunteering app, ‘Do Some Good’, enabling users to volunteer using their mobile phone.

The ‘Do Some Good’ app includes good deeds that can be done at users’ convenience, such as uploading a photo of a rundown green space for guerrilla gardeners to consider renovating, or completing a ‘wellbeing’ survey for Samaritans.

Consumers will also be able to earn music rewards, such as tickets to a gig of their choice, after completing 60 actions of volunteering using the app.

BlackBerry users can now download the ‘bite size’ volunteering app for free from the BlackBerry app store.

‘Do Some Good’ is already available on the iPhone and iPad after its launched last month at the Apple app store.
