EXpansys is upping its drive into the US, promoting chief operating officer Tim Eltze to the new role of US operations president and taking on Chris Ogle as eXpansys chief financial officer.
Under the new role, Ogle will take on most of Eltze's former COO responsibilities.
Eltze will spearhead the company’s drive into the US, which is fuelled by eXpansys clinching a major US-wide SIM card distribution agreement with T-Mobile earlier this year.
The company said: 'The US represents one of eXpansys' most attractive growth opportunities.’
It added: ‘Tim's combination of eXpansys retail and DSNS Sim card distribution experience makes him a uniquely qualified leader for our business in North America.’
Eltze will remain on the eXpansys board with most of his responsibilities as the former COO falling on Ogle’s shoulders in his new role as CFO.
Ogle was finance director at Flomerics Group, a developer of analysis software for electronics companies from 1999 to 2007. For the past two years he has worked as a consultant for an MVNO group and an international calling card business. He comes with significant experience in leading international acquisitions.
He was also finance director of Artilium, an AIM listed developer of software for mobile virtual network operators.
Anthony Catterson (pictured), CEO of eXpansys, said: ‘Chris Ogle's combination of directly relevant sector expertise and UK Aim/PLC experience will be invaluable. EXpansys is trading directly in fifty countries around the world today, indirectly in over 100, and we are committed to growing our international markets, improving financial efficiency across the Group and creating value for shareholders.
'Chris has a track record of delivering on those challenges previously and we look forward to working with him.’
